Bronoco killed in drive-by shooting
NewsAs some of you might have seen on the news some Denver Broco's cornerback Darrent Williams was killed Monday when his Hummer was gunned down after a New Year's Eve party.
Now to me, why is this so devastating? He was just some dude that was obviously messin with the wrong crowd. I think yeah, it's sad that some young guy that had the potential to father 20 children is now dead. (or is that basketball?) But why does it make such huge headlines?? He's not a doctor, he hasn't cured cancer, he hasn't done anything miraculous to warrant such headlines.
When was the last time someone with huge importance died made the news? We never hear about people who are on research teams for cancer die. We only hear about the famous people. I'll never understand this world we live in.
