Are Democrats Greener?
World ViewsIt has been said that Democrats are Greener then Republicans. Do Democrats care more about the Earth than Repubicans? Democrats as a whole have more of a stamp on getting the U.S. to turn around to the Green movement. Republicans as a whole are still old-school with their gas guzzling vehicles and a waste approach to their lives.
Here are a list of Democrats that are trying to make a difference.

So is it true? Are Democrats Greener than Republicans?

1) The governator is a Republican, no matter how left leaning he is on some issues. And, he still drives his Hummer, even if it does use biodeisel.
2) Green isn't just about how many miles per gallon one gets. I saw a report of a study that was done (and I can't point to it right now) that showed the overall environmental cost of a vehicle, which accounts for factors all the way to the factory and design "costs". Some of the so-called green cars looked a lot less green with a holistic view.
I think that Democrats like to appear that they are somehow more conscious of the environment and they certainly like to talk about it, but from my personal experiences I find very little behavioral differences in my acquaintances, whether they are liberal or conservative.
