Stupid!

So the other day I get the call from Stupidville. It's for a loan... this guy says his brother wants to get a loan. So I tell him how it works... I fill out his information, and then someone calls him back with the information. So this highly uneducated (stupid - for lack of a better word) says, "alright, well talk to my brother, because he's the one that needs the loan."

So his even dumber brother gets on the phone, I explain it all over to him again how the process works. Then he still asks, "so are you going to send me an application in the mail then?" I say, "no sir, I am going to fill out the application for you over the phone." Then dumbfounded he's like, "ohh.. well let me put my brother back on the phone, I can't read or write!" Then needless to say I was then dumbfounded! So I just go along with it... "alright sir, that's fine."

Then his brother gets back on the phone. I say, "how much is your brother's combined personal monthly income?" He asks his brother and it's all muffled and I don't quite understand because they speak so well (insert sarcasm here). I think I hear him say "$1,000". So I ask, "Did you say $1,000 sir?" He said, "no, $700." So then I put it into the system and it rejects it. I say, "I'm sorry sir, but to qualify he must have twelve hundred dollars in personal monthly income." Then he was taken aback. He's like, "well 700 is more than 12!" This is when I can hardly contain myself. I have hit the bottom of the education barrel!!! Then I say, "no sir, one thousand two hundred dollars." I get silence. Like he just can't phathom what I said. So I procede... "he needs five hundred dollars more personal monthly income to qualify." Then he asks his brother if there is anyway he can get more income... they discuss it and then come to the conclusion that he ain't gonna be gettin a loan today! So he comes back to the phone and says, "thank you" and hangs up.

Wow do they take the cake!! I think those were two of the dumbest people I've ever encountered. Makes you wonder where on earth these people are dwelling! I hope to God nowhere near me.

So I get this caller... he asks for me to check his account balance. I immediately know he has the wrong number, afterall he's not ordering anything. So I say, "I'm sorry sir, but you have the wrong number." He says, "oh, well what number should I call then?"
